Cortland wins Division III Championship

My brother is thrilled.

Of course it means a round of Binghamton bashing, but it's almost worth it to see a SUNY school win.

I should have noted that it was the Cross Country championship. Click on the title to go to an article.

Wasn't Harry Beal from Cortland? And my understanding is that the "C'mon Harry!" wary cry at the start of our cross country races originated from Harry Beal (not Harry the janitor). The fact that Harry the janitor's name was Harry was purely coincidental, although to me, it gave more meaning to the "C'mon Harry's."

Nice touch creating a link with the title to navigate to the article. Fancier stuff than we usually do.......

Harry Beal! I was trying to remember his last name. That's it. He went into the military after school. He's probably General Beal by now.

As far as the link in the title is concerned, I had to do something to make up for the fact that I stumbled when trying to become an author of this Blog.

I looked at the results. Those Cortland guys were quite impressive overall as a team. Binghamton is Division I now, so they don't compete directly, but I'm sure Binghamton's Division I team was nowhere near this good....
