We used to run for Coach Gary Truce at SUNY Binghamton a long time ago! We're over a half-century old now (and yikes, many of us are over 65). BUT we still run, bike, ROW, XC ski, walk, and work out! Please join us, whether or not you ran for Gary!

Blog "Facelift"
Well, I tried to give the blog a facelift, by rearranging it into two columns instead of three and "tinkering" with the text and background colors. In the end, I'm not sure it's an improvement, but at least it's different!
Once upon a time I was sitting with some colleagues talking about the user interface for a software tool. I took out a piece of graph paper and drew what I thought would be a friendly and useful interface.
Now every time I use that tool (and thankfully it isn't much) I cringe at what we have created, and I see visions of that stinking piece of graph paper.
I offer no comments on anything regarding human factors...

Not as good as before the facelift process started, but better than the first facelift attempt.
