I have always preferred running (or XC skiing) outside in the winter, and actually don't even have access to a treadmill. The XC skiing is a tremendous workout, and also gives my bones/joints a break during the winter.Sub 5 at 50 milerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09900582942045454994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7799499719291725575.post-23702711400812844342010-01-09T18:26:39.597-05:002010-01-09T18:26:39.597-05:00Mark & Eric & Dave,
My training this wint...Mark & Eric & Dave,

My training this winter is 80% outside (yes, even in the driving snow and wind) and 20% inside (strength training and inside aerobics). I'm planning on running the Lockport Y-10 in February and the Buffalo Half-Marathon in May...so as far as I'm concerned, any and all outside running that I can get in is a good thing, Besides, I hate treadmills...I really would rather run outside in the snow than be locked inside a gym, running "nowhere," and forced to watch "Oprah." BTW, I apologize to Mark for mistaking him for Mark R. in my last comment on your blog! My mistake! I enjoy reading your blog. Keep up the good work!Erin Conleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12560914834163706133noreply@blogger.com
